Kon'nichiwa Japan!!

Heyy guyss!! hoping you all are doing well and are happy! i was ready with one of my drafts long back but unfortunately couldnt post it and obviously the reason is exams! :/ anyways before my next set of exams start i wanted to post because i have no clue when am i gonna post next!

I dont think i have to tell what im going to talk about...the title says it all! the essence of japanese cuisine reminds me of sushi! well i never got a chance to try sushi but would love to try it! it seems delicious...sushi is a japanese food consisting of vinegered rice combined with raw uncooked seafood, vegetables and sometimes tropical fruits.

Japanese food is often metioned in connection with a healthy diet because of the large amount of fish and vegetable eaten. We can say that rice is the most important staple food in japan, it is eaten in almost every meal.

DID YOU KNOW??

  •  Green tea is prepared in japan and is prepared in various forms as 'matcha' (the tea used in  japanese tea ceremony).
  • 'Sake' is a brewed rice beverage that typically contains 15-17% of alcohol and is made by multiple fermentation of rice.
Soo i would like to conclude now but before i go i would like to metion that we now have a FB and an instragram page! so do check it out and share our blogs if you like them! ;)
(p.s. topic credits to one of our most favourite readers Aayushi!)
until next time,

New Year, New resolutions

Happy New Year guys!
One thing that signifies new year are the resolutions. Despite planning all the things you want to do, new year resolution is something we only follow for a week or two.

One of the most common resolution of new year is to get rid of your excessive pounds. To follow this, you might sign up for gym or yoga classes but the bitter truth is that you won't be able to follow. You will either end all your sessions or you will start eating everything!

All these courses and sessions will be only a requirement to build up and not reduce weight if we simply add certain things to your diet. (unless you are like me, I am terrible at following a fixed diet. I eat anything when I am hungry :p)

So here is a list of what you could munch while you are bored -

1) Vegetables and fruits with lot of water content
2) Almonds
3) Lentils
4) Dark chocolate
5) Citrus fruits (also citrus juice)
6) Greek yoghurt and cottage cheese
7) Eggs
8) Oatmeal
9) Broth-based soups
10) Berries
11) Fish
12) Flax seed

This are some of the things that will help you get rid of those extra pounds. It is agreeable that some of the items on the list seems wrong, but trust me, it isn't!

I will do it separate post on each to explain how it's gonna help you!

Have a great year ahead!
- Abubakr Sajith
